IHG Hotels & Resorts is unveiling a new addition to its upscale portfolio, named Noted Collection, which will aim to transform upscale-to-upper-scale establishments.
The organization is currently engaged in discussions with various property owners, including those with extensive hotel portfolios, regarding the opportunity to be part of this new brand. IHG plans to launch the Noted Collection initially with hotels located in the Europe, Middle East, Asia & Africa (EMEAA) area and progressively expand it worldwide, targeting the establishment of 150 Noted Collection hotels globally within the next ten years.
“There is significant interest from proprietors of premium, unique hotels eager to leverage our resources and expertise, and Noted Collection presents them with a unique and appealing brand that offers a pathway to enhanced performance,” stated Elie Maalouf, CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts. “In the preceding year, we acquired the urban lifestyle brand Ruby, which caters to essential city getaway destinations, and the launch of Noted Collection signifies our ongoing dedication to developing a robust premium portfolio that addresses the evolving needs of guests and hotel operators.”
He further remarked that, “Noted Collection will enable travelers globally to enjoy even greater variety and fresh experiences backed by the assurance of True Hospitality that accompanies every stay at an IHG establishment.”
IHG is branding the new line as providing “remarkable stays” that embody some form of history or narrative, “signature moments” that include local encounters for visitors, and “conversation starters” featuring personal elements like handwritten messages, carefully chosen items, and cultural activities that leave guests with keepsakes from their visit.
Noted Collection will enhance IHG’s current premium offerings, such as Vignette Collection within the Luxury & Lifestyle lineup, alongside the rapidly expanding premium conversion labels Garner and voco, which have recently opened locations in Bangkok and Florida’s Treasure Coast.
