Princess Grand Jamaica, recognized as one of the premier family-oriented resorts in the Caribbean, is set to reopen this upcoming Sunday, March 1, after a brief hiatus following Hurricane Melissa in October.
The reopening of the resort coincides with the February 1 reopening of its adult-only neighbor, Princess Senses The Mangrove, and “restores our complete resort offering once more,” commented Marc Pelfort, regional director of sales and marketing for Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica.
“Families can revel in the lively, activity-rich atmosphere of Princess Grand Jamaica, while adults in search of enhanced tranquility can escape to Princess Senses The Mangrove, all within one unified destination,” Pelfort remarked. “This dual-resort approach has consistently been integral to our brand, and we take pride in once again providing guests with the flexibility, diversity, and scale that facilitate seamless multigenerational travel and longer stays in Jamaica.”
The Princess resorts are among a number of Jamaican properties that have announced their return in recent months as they recuperate from Hurricane Melissa; for instance, Eclipse at Half Moon in Montego Bay is set to reopen on April 2. The Jamaica Tourist Board maintains a compilation of property reopenings on their website.
