The carrier has disclosed 78 new international flights from 10 to 18 March 2026, linking India with prominent destinations in Europe, the United States, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka.

This initiative provides vital flexibility for travelers seeking seats during a busy travel period.

Additional Flights Intended to Relieve Capacity Issues

According to a statement from Air India, the new services will cover nine international routes, which include key European hubs and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

The routes consist of:

  1. Delhi – New York (JFK)

As noted by Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nipun Aggarwal, the airline is committed to maintaining connectivity with Europe and North America despite facing operational hurdles.

Airlines are currently utilizing alternative flight paths deemed safe. The objective remains clear: to keep travelers moving while other options are still restricted.
