Silversea Cruises has announced plans for enhancements to Silver Spirit after the successful upgrade of its sister vessel, Silver Muse.
“During each ship’s revitalization, we are carefully redesigning the future of our onboard experience to unveil new ideas, broaden our passengers’ cherished amenities, and persist in enhancing how our guests explore the world,” stated Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea. “The transformation of Silver Spirit exemplifies our commitment to crafting more enriching journeys for our guests – providing increased space, enhanced comfort, and a more profound sense of immersion both on board and across all destinations.”
Among the improvements slated are new Medallion Suites, each equipped with a private balcony, a bathroom featuring a bathtub and walk-in shower, and a separate bedroom fitted with a king-sized bed.
Furthermore, the introduction of the brand’s S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary initiative will be a highlight. New dining venues will include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, showcasing menus inspired by various destinations, and S.A.L.T. Bar, which will offer regional spirits and bespoke cocktails. At S.A.L.T. Lab, guests can engage in interactive cooking classes centered around local flavors and traditions.
Revamped communal areas will feature the Venetian Lounge, which is set for a comprehensive update, incorporating new drapery, carpeting, upholstery for banquettes, and additional enhancements. A cutting-edge LED wall will also be installed in the lounge to amplify the entertainment experience.
The pool deck will be refreshed, as well as the Zagara Beauty Spa, which will feature new spa chairs and treatment beds.
After its refurbishment from late March to mid-May, Silver Spirit will set sail in late May for a series of voyages through Northern and Western Europe, prior to embarking on a 50-day journey through the Mediterranean.
