Nobu Hospitality has revealed additional information regarding the upcoming Nobu Beach Inn, Barbuda, which will introduce accommodations and residences adjacent to the current Nobu dining establishment on the island.
Actor Robert De Niro, who co-founded Nobu Hospitality, first came across the site over three decades ago and has been contemplating the hotel project for roughly a decade since the location became available.
“From the moment I arrived on Barbuda, I recognized its uniqueness. Our aim was to establish a space that is welcoming, where everyone can come together and capture the spirit of the island,” De Niro commented. “The design of the Nobu Beach Inn is intended to harmonize with its environment while preserving the natural allure of the landscape.”
This new hotel will be integrated into The Beach Club, Barbuda, a low-density resort and residential enclave. The Nobu Barbuda restaurant and lounge has been operational in this area, located on the renowned Princess Diana Beach, since 2020.
The Nobu Beach Inn will span 400 acres and feature two miles of sandy shores on the southwestern coast of Barbuda. It will comprise 36 suites distributed across 17 separate villas, alongside 25 branded residences.
Facilities will include a beach club, an oceanfront swimming pool, both indoor and outdoor spa services, a kids club, an outdoor cinema, two tennis courts, two padel courts, a gym pavilion, and a center for water sports. Besides the Nobu restaurant, the site will also host an oceanfront grill featuring local catches and an omakase sushi bar.
The construction at the site is anticipated to wrap up by the close of 2026, though an official opening date remains unannounced.
