Etihad to resume limited flight schedule from 6 March

Pre-Travel Guidance for Passengers

If you are scheduled to travel soon, the airline urges passengers to be mindful of their timing when heading to the airport.

Only those who have received communication from Etihad or possess a confirmed reservation on one of the resumed flights should make their way to Abu Dhabi airport.

Prior to departing for the airport, passengers need to:

  • Verify their flight status on the Etihad website
  • Ensure that the contact information in their booking is up to date
  • Watch for email or SMS communications for updates from the airline

Options for Rebooking and Refund for Affected Passengers

Etihad has also implemented flexible arrangements for customers impacted by the disruptions.

Complimentary Rebooking

Travellers holding Etihad tickets issued on or before 28 February 2026, scheduled for travel until 21 March 2026, may rebook at no cost on Etihad-operated flights up until 15 May 2026.

Complete Refunds

Alongside the complimentary rebooking option, Etihad provides customers who plan to fly on or before 10 March with the opportunity to request a full refund via Etihad’s website or through their travel agent.

It is important to note that passengers who made bookings via a travel agency should reach out to their agent directly to initiate changes.

Situation Under Close Observation

Etihad asserts the schedule may continue to evolve as the situation unfolds.

The airline is carefully assessing regional airspace conditions and will keep passengers informed should further modifications become necessary.

For those organizing travels in the upcoming weeks, the best course of action is clear: check your flight status prior to going to the airport and stay informed through airline updates.
