AmaWaterways is enhancing its executive team with the addition of two key leaders: Virginia Suliman as the chief technology officer and Michael “Kazem” Moghtader as the chief people officer.
Suliman will oversee AmaWaterways’ strategic technology initiatives and digital advancement. She has a wealth of experience in technology leadership, having most recently been the chief information and digital officer at Invitation Homes, where she spearheaded a significant digital transformation. Her career also includes over 20 years at Hilton, where she ultimately held the role of senior vice president of global software engineering.

Moghtader will aim at recruiting and nurturing exceptional talent while improving the employee experience. He has over 20 years of experience in shaping HR strategy, talent growth, and organizational change in diverse sectors including hospitality, healthcare, retail, and luxury industries. His most recent position was as chief people officer at Postcard Cabins (previously known as Getaway). His past roles encompass chief people officer at Conifer Health Solutions, vice president of human resources at Signet Jewelers, and leadership roles at JC Penney, Victoria’s Secret, and Banana Republic.
