In early March, Air India will increase the number of flights from Delhi to Toronto, Frankfurt, and Paris, providing travelers with additional options as demand surges amid challenges in West Asia.
Airlines in the area continue to modify their schedules as disruptions in West Asia affect standard travel routines. To assist with the increasing demand, Air India is introducing more flights along various long-distance routes.
The airline has announced that the additional flights will operate between Delhi and three key international hubs: Toronto, Frankfurt, and Paris, during the first half of March.
These extra services could significantly benefit travelers attempting to reconfigure their journeys or obtain seats on short notice.
Additional Delhi–Toronto Flights From 5–11 March
The most significant increase is on the Delhi–Toronto route, which is among the busiest long-haul services of Air India.
The airline will provide:
- 3 extra flights between Delhi and Toronto
- Travel dates: 5 March to 11 March
Toronto serves as a vital entry point for travelers heading to Canada and North America. Due to schedule changes impacting parts of the Middle East, demand for seats on this route has been substantial.
Added Flights to Frankfurt and Paris
Air India is also enhancing its European operations for a brief period. From 7 March to 10 March, the airline intends to add:
- 3 extra flights between Delhi and Frankfurt
- 1 additional flight between Delhi and Paris Charles de Gaulle
Both destinations act as significant aviation hubs in Europe. From these cities, passengers can easily connect to a wide range of destinations throughout Europe.
Increased Options for Connecting Travelers
The added flights are beneficial not only for those traveling to Canada or Europe.
They also facilitate connections for travelers passing through Delhi, which has become a crucial transfer point as airlines modify routes to avoid certain airspace in West Asia.
Those arriving in Delhi on these flights can continue their travel to:
- Significant cities across India
- Favored destinations in Southeast Asia
- Other international routes operated by Air India
This arrangement offers passengers enhanced flexibility when arranging long-haul voyages.
Possibility of More Flights
At present, the extra services are planned to operate until 11 March.
Nonetheless, Air India states it is vigilantly overseeing the circumstances and may introduce further flights on these routes should demand persist.
Travelers organizing trips in the upcoming days are encouraged to frequently check schedules as airlines continue to modify flights in light of the changing situation.
