Kimpton Era Midtown New York has named Kori Yoran to the role of managing director and Geraldine Burgos as the director of sales.
Yoran and Burgos are set to oversee the upcoming launch of the newly developed, 33-story facility, a collaboration between IHG Hotels & Resorts and Extell Development Company that will introduce 529 accommodations and four dining establishments in Midtown Manhattan.
“We are excited to have Kori and Geraldine join us in leading Kimpton Era Midtown New York,” stated Elysa Goldman, SVP of development at Extell. “Their outstanding expertise in New York hospitality, along with their shared commitment to guest-oriented experiences, positions them as the ideal leaders for our entrance in the heart of Manhattan. We eagerly anticipate the energy, creativity, and drive they will contribute to the hotel and our team.”
The duo brings extensive hospitality expertise to the table. Yoran has dedicated over 15 years to the sector and has played a vital role in the expansion of prominent properties in the city, such as Hyatt Union Square, ModernHaus SoHo, Margaritaville Resort Times Square, and Dream Midtown.
Burgos possesses a solid foundation in sales strategy and relationship building with clients, having previously led a sales team for a collection of 16 hotels while fostering revenue and occupancy enhancement.
