Alila Mayakoba has officially launched in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, signifying the debut of Hyatt’s Alila brand in both the Caribbean and Latin America.
The 60-acre, nature-centric beachfront resort includes 182 guestrooms, suites, and villas, each featuring serene pools enveloped by lagoons, jungles, and mangroves. The property also boasts six unique restaurants and bars, alongside Spa Alila at Mayakoba.
“We aspire for guests to experience a sense of relaxation and mindfulness from the moment they arrive, as they explore the blend of the Alila brand’s philosophy of thoughtful luxury with the natural beauty and cultural depth of Riviera Maya,” expressed Patrick Schori, the general manager of Alila Mayakoba. “Every aspect of the resort is intricately connected to its surroundings – from the unfolding landscapes and open-air design to the delicate sensory elements embedded throughout the guest experience. Alila Mayakoba provides a journey that is grounding, intuitive, and profoundly rejuvenating.”
Approximately 40 percent of Alila Mayakoba’s lodgings are suites, including the luxurious Presidential Suite. These upscale accommodations are characterized by organic textures and a harmonious integration of indoor and outdoor areas, featuring private terraces.
The resort warmly welcomes families and presents various Alila Moments, which are locally influenced rituals that guests can engage in during their stay, such as a clay-based healing ceremony, the creation of mandalas, and a water blessing.
Spa Alila at Mayakoba also integrates ancient Mayan wisdom and practices, accompanied by a state-of-the-art fitness center.
