Marek Andryszak, previously a high-ranking executive at TUI, has been appointed as the new President of the Sunwing Vacations Group.
On Thursday, WestJet, the parent company of Sunwing, declared that Andryszak’s term will commence on March 16, 2026. He brings over 25 years of extensive leadership expertise in the tourism industry to this position.
Alongside his previous leadership positions at TUI, Andryszak most recently held the role of CEO at DSR Hotel Holding in Germany, managing 34 hotels and resorts across various European brands. Before that, he served as CEO of 8a.pl, a Polish online retail company for two years.
“I am excited to join the WestJet Group and take the helm of Sunwing Vacations during such a vibrant time for the company. Canada’s travel sector presents amazing possibilities, and I am eager to collaborate with our skilled teams to provide outstanding vacation experiences for our clients,” Andryszak commented. “My family and I look forward to relocating to Toronto and embracing life in Canada as we embark on this new journey together.”
