In a sorrowful turn of events on Thursday afternoon, an Air India service bound for London's Gatwick Airport crashed shortly after departing from Ahmedabad. The flight, identified as AI171, was carrying 242 people when the mishap occurred at approximately 1:38 pm on June 12, 2025.
