Air India Introduces Direct Delhi-Hanoi Flights to Vietnam

Air India has inaugurated direct flights from Delhi to Hanoi, providing five weekly operations, making travel to Vietnam simpler, and allowing for flexible multi-city travel plans with enhanced international links.

Air India has launched its first non-stop service connecting Delhi with Hanoi, marking its inaugural operation to the capital of Vietnam. This new flight will operate five times weekly, presenting travellers another convenient option to access the nation.

With this addition, Hanoi becomes Air India’s second destination in Vietnam, following Ho Chi Minh City, and its eighth location in Southeast Asia.

First Flight Arrives in Hanoi

The first flight, AI2390, departed from Delhi at 1:20 AM (IST) and reached Noi Bai International Airport at 7:20 AM local time. Representatives from the Indian Embassy, airport officials, and airline team welcomed the flight upon its arrival, signaling the commencement of regular services on this route.

This new service facilitates travel between India and Vietnam, enhancing convenience and flexibility.

  • Passengers can now enter Hanoi and depart from Ho Chi Minh City
  • Alternatively, they can reverse the journey

Vietnam is gaining popularity among Indian travellers due to its beautiful beaches, delicious cuisine, and cost-effective travel options. This new flight adds greater convenience for leisure and business travels alike.

The route from Delhi to Hanoi is served using the Airbus A320neo.

Travellers have three cabin class options:

  • Business Class
  • Premium Economy
  • Economy

This guarantees a complete service experience for passengers, whether they are on short hauls or onward connections.

    Departure: 08:20 AM
    Arrival: 11:35 AM
    Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
