Victory Cruise Lines has appointed Rodney Bailey as its newly established vice president of guest experience, a position aimed at enhancing and streamlining the overall guest journey.
In this capacity, Bailey will develop and oversee a comprehensive guest experience – encompassing pre-cruise inspiration and reservations, the design and execution of onboard experiences, themed enrichment programming, loyalty initiatives, and post-cruise service recovery. His influence will extend to both onshore and onboard teams and experiences.
With years of executive experience in hospitality and cruise sectors, Bailey’s background includes prestigious names such as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Mandarin Oriental, The Setai, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara, and American Queen Voyages. He comes to Victory Cruise Lines after leading RAB Hospitality as president/owner, a firm focused on hospitality operations consultancy.

Previously, Bailey contributed to Victory Cruise Lines in a consulting role, aiding with initiatives for guest experience strategy, which allows him to seamlessly integrate into the position aligned with the company’s culture, principles, and vision for advancement.
