Tauck is broadening its small ship cruise offerings for the year 2027 by introducing a fresh Baltic Sea itinerary, alongside improvements to the beloved itineraries returning from guest favorites in the Galapagos, as well as increased capacity in the Aegean and Iberia regions. Overall, Tauck will present 22 small ship cruises in 2027—including two Tauck Bridges itineraries that cater to families—and will initiate reservations in March.
“Our small ship cruises consistently attract guests due to their unique itinerary designs, significant cultural experiences, and a level of attention that simplifies travel,” stated Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh. “For 2027, we’re expanding from that basis—launching a long-awaited new itinerary in the Baltic Sea while further refining and enhancing our most sought-after journeys.”
The newly introduced 12-day Cruising the Baltic Sea itinerary will make several stops throughout Northern Europe’s Baltic region aboard PONANT’s Le Champlain. Notable ports of call encompass Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Wismar, Gdansk, Copenhagen, and the island of Visby.
Highlights of the port calls feature a Tauck-exclusive special dinner at Stockholm’s Vasa Museum and excursions to significant sites such as Estonia’s Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Poland’s European Solidarity Center, and the UNESCO-listed historical towns of Visby and Lubeck.
Robust early interest has led to the itinerary being almost fully booked.
Increased Departures, Enhancements to Favored Itineraries
As interest surges for Mediterranean itineraries, Tauck is boosting departures on two of its most cherished journeys.
First, Tauck is prolonging the season for its 14-day Aegean Voyage: Athens to Istanbul itinerary, adding two additional departures for the 2027 schedule running from April to October. This journey includes a two-night stay at Athens’ Hotel Grande Bretagne and three nights at the InterContinental Istanbul, alongside an eight-night cruise on Windstar’s 312-passenger Star Legend.
Additionally, Tauck is increasing its offerings of the 13-day Treasures of Spain and Portugal itinerary with two more departures. The company is also incorporating select departures aboard Windstar’s Star Legend, supplementing sailings that are typically run on Windstar’s 342-passenger Wind Surf. The journey includes two-night stays at both the InterContinental Lisbon and the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, combined with an eight-night cruise connecting the two cities.
Moreover, one of the company’s most sought-after journeys, Hidden Galapagos & Peru, is set to return in 2027 featuring a variety of enhancements. Most notably, all flights during the tour will be organized as exclusive private charters, and travelers will begin the expedition cruise segment of the trip from Quito, where they’ll experience pre- and post-cruise accommodations at Casa Gangotena, a Relais & Châteaux establishment. In the Galapagos, guests will cruise aboard Silversea Cruises’ Silver Origin, an all-suite expedition vessel accommodating no more than 40 Tauck guests. During their land stay, guests will now enjoy accommodations at the InterContinental Real Lima in the upscale Miraflores waterfront area, followed by a stay at Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa located in Peru’s Sacred Valley, and at the JW Marriott Cusco, a restored Augustinian convent from the 16th century built atop ancient Incan ruins.
