JetBlue is broadening its presence in Texas by adding nonstop flights that operate twice daily between George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.
Set to commence on May 21, 2026, JetBlue will utilize its distinctive Airbus A320 aircraft for this route.
This will not mark the first time JetBlue has linked IAH and JFK, as the airline first introduced the route in late 2019 after relocating its entire operation in Houston from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). However, shortly after its launch, the JFK route was suspended due to the pandemic, while JetBlue chose to continue its existing nonstop flights between Houston and Boston Logan (BOS).
“Houston represents a vital destination for numerous travelers, and we’re excited to bring back nonstop flights between JFK and Houston, offering our passengers a seamless connection between these two significant metropolitan regions,” shared Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships at JetBlue. “With flights operating twice a day, we’re providing a schedule that accommodates same-day travel, extended visits, and straightforward connections within our network.”
